Born and raised in Hawaii, 🏝 now living in Los Angeles. I enjoy building web apps, spending time outdoors, hiking, picnics and plants. Web development is my favorite creative outlet and is where my passion lies.
My hospitality background has provided me with valuable transferable skills as a Software Engineer. Some include a demonstrated ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environments, team collaboration, customer service, and effective communication between team members and various departments.
My favorite technologies are JavaScript, React.js/Redux, HTML5 and CSS3. However, I'm also skilled in the technologies located below my photo.
I have experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), RESTful APIs, Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair-programming.

"Caitlin is capable, creative developer, a dogged problem-solver, a natural leader.
At the team level, Caitlin is joy to work with. But more importantly, she’s a central part of whatever team she joins. This was true at the level of our cohort too - not only was she a leading voice in a group of 100+ individuals, but she was also the principal organizer for our social media info sessions and meeting places.
There’s a lot more I could say, but in short, I know Caitlin’s going to continue on to a stellar career. I would recommend her to anyone considering bringing him on their team. She’s certain to prove an immense asset."
"Working with Caitlin is like a Sunday afternoon - easy-going, optimistic, freeing, and at times you even forget about the time. It's rarely the projects we work on, but the people we worked with on them. Caitlin is someone you remember."
"Caitlin is one of the hardest working students while we studied together at App Academy. She was always happy to learn something new and loved solving problems. She is always a joy to work with when we work on projects together. She always brings a happy deposition in any environment and would be an asset for any software engineering position."
